Public Art Array Around The Valley
Public Art for Free
What is public art? According to the Association for Public Art, “Public art is a reflection of how we see the world – the artist’s response to our time and place combined with our own sense of who we are.”
Public art enriches the community and is a part of our public history, part of our evolving culture and our collective memory. We invite you to check out some of the free public art in our Blackstone Valley Communities and whether you like it or not hopefully it will engage you to think about how we perceive our communal history.
