5 Fun Things to do to Kick off Summer this weekend!

- Visit the Open House at Blackstone River Glass Center to try glassblowing this Saturday and follow it with an evening cruise aboard the Explorer to help kick off the boat's 30th season
- Head to Spring Lake Beach in Burrillville for a delightful day at this nostalgic swimming hole complete with paddle boat rentals, children's slides at the water's edge, playground, concession stand, and definitely try your hand at some of the oldest arcade games in the country

- There's plenty of choices to take in a parade on Memorial Day! In Lincoln, line Great Road for their Annual Parade at 11 AM then make your way to Chase Farm for the post-parade Food Truck Celebration. The village of Riverside in East Providence has their Memorial Day Parade starting at 10 AM. And, The LeClair Kozlik Logan Bassett VFW Post 6342 annual parade will step off from Brigidos Market at 10:30 am and march down Main Street in North Smithfield!
