  • Just Like Nana’sThe best authentic rugelach in Rhode Island – Pawtucket, RI
    • Karen Griffen learned to cook as a young girl for necessity. While growing up, her Nana would make all the main meals! When her Nana got older, she sadly passed from Parkinson’s disease. At this time is when Karen took over all the family cooking! Karen describes “Just Like Nana’s” to be Authentic, Wholesome, and Ethical. She began this journey after retiring from her teaching career. Just Like Nana’s is authentic because it continues on her families’ traditions and recipes! It is wholesome because she kept the original recipe but with a bit of a healthier twist! Lastly, Just Like Nana’s is giving back by bringing healthier baked goods to the community and teaching high school students how to get creative with their baking and how to become an entrepreneur along the way.
