Blackstone Valley Food Scene

Did you hear?… Cow’s Tail Deli and Creamery took top honors with their “Cow’s Tail Burger” in the recent Burrillville Burger Week. Take a trip to Rhode Island’s northwest corner to try one for yourself and see what the buzz is about.  Plus, the restaurant deals continue in Blackstone Valley! Three of our region’s tastiest restaurants are participating in Providence’s Restaurant Weeks through February 6th.

Here are some descriptions taken from GoProvidence’s website and click the links for menu:

Ten Rocks Tapas, Pawtucket  This beloved restaurant is the first of its kind in the Greater Providence area offering modernly infused Cape Verdean Tapas and Cuisine. For $25.95 you can get “dinner for one” that includes a choice of salad, entree and dessert. Or you can take advantage of their take out special and add a bottle of wine to your order for $40.

579 Benefit Street, Pawtucket – Known for its simple sophistication, they’re offering a three-course meal for $34.95. This includes a choice of clam chowder, salad or appetizer; entree; dessert or dessert martini. (*dine-in only for dinner on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille, Smithfield – Serving authentic and innovative Italian cuisine since 2005, Tavolo is offering a “Wine & Dinner 3-course Special” for $29.95 per person. Speaking of the Blackstone Valley Food scene, another opportunity to experience the flavors of the valley is on Monday, January 25th at 7 pm when Stadium Theatre invites local chefs to share their Culinary Secrets. Here’s some more info about the fun night they have planned that you won’t want to miss: The Stadium Theatre’s Culinary Secrets from the Best is a unique tasting and demonstration showcase experience. This event will feature four prominent culinary artists as they each prepare their signature dish and cocktail pairing live on stage. Guests will observe the live demonstration in the Grand Hall while enjoying each dish as it is served to them at their very own socially distanced dining station. Each guest will also receive their own recipe cards so you can recreate each dish and cocktail at home.

The featured Culinary Artists include: David Ashworth from Parma Ristorante in Smithfield, David Lahousse from Kay’s Restaurant in Woonsocket, Gina Savini from Ciro’s Tavern in Woonsocket, and two-time Super Bowl Champion & former New England Patriots defensive lineman, Jarvis Green from Oceans 97.

Enjoy! Mangiar! Nosh! Devorar!
