March Food & Drink

We’ve got some great holidays coming up for enjoying food and drink  in the Blackstone Valley – St. Patrick’s Day and St. Joseph’s Day (who can resist a Zeppole?)!

However, first on our list, is a special fundraising lunch for Ukraine at Krakow Deli Bakery Smokehouse in Woonsocket. A visit to Krakow Deli is like visiting Poland, and we think their Pierogies are the best! More Info

Gotta Q Smokehouse in Cumberland is offering smoked corned beef with roasted potatoes and collard greens available for dine-in or take out for St. Patrick’s Day. If you want your meal catered, orders must be placed by Tuesday, March 15.

Returning for a limited time, JA Patty’s in Pawtucket is serving up its Irish Patty. Their signature patty doug is stuffed with braised corned beef, sauteed farm-fresh carrots, cabbage & potatoes and served w/ a side of creamy dijon mustard sauce.  You don’t want to miss out!

Don’t forget to pick up some Howling Green Apple Moonshine to wash it down at White Dog Distilling.

Crooked Current is releasing some celebratory beers for St. Paddy’s Day, starting with a peppermint mocha white stout, made with peppermint, vanilla, chocolate and coffee!

Why not try an Irish breakfast Sandwich at Phantom Farm featuring their homemade buttermilk biscuits, corned beef, Swiss cheese, egg and thousand island – yum! If you miss breakfast, you can always try a fresh reuben for lunch instead.

Don’t forget tomorrow, March 11th is your last chance to order your St. Patrick’s take-out meal for two at Harvest Kitchen

If you prefer dining in, East Providence Yacht Club is serving a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday March 17th at 3 pm.  Be sure to check out their March entertainment as well.

While in East Providence head to Black Duck Tavern. They are getting in the St. Patrick’s spirit!  Check out their “seasonal” take on Mozzarella…..Shamrocks!

Follow up with an ice cream at Sacred Cow Ice Cream Shop with mint chocolate chips, or their mint based ice cream with creamy fudge swirls; thick fudge chunks and crumbled oreo pieces mixed throughout! Saturday, March 12th from 8:30 am – 11:30 am, Sacred Cow will be participating in the EP Kids Teddy Bear Breakfast! More Info.
