Father’s Day Fun

This Father’s Day there are many ways to celebrate dad in the Blackstone Valley.  From beer to outdoor/indoor adventures, here are just a few suggestions:

For older children sharing some craft beer with dad might be just the ticket and there are many breweries to choose from in the valley. Below are just a few of our local breweries

Is dad into cars? Why not treat him to some special Father’s Day Race Packages at R1 Indoor Karting. From race bundles to axe fun R1 has something to give dad. Better yet book a family outing and check out the new Time Zone combined with Father’s Day karting or axe throwing and traveling through the TimeZone. Book now before they sell out.  Father’s Day Deals.

Maybe dad prefers laser tag or rock climbing. Located on Higginson Ave. in Pawtucket (near R1 Indoor Karting) is BattlegroundZ where you can book a paintball or laser tag adventure for dad. More Info.

Rock Spot Climbing, also located on Higginson Ave., is a climbing gym where you can challenge dad to some climbing or gift him with a special summer membership.

Plan an outdoor outing for bouldering, kayaking or fishing at Lincoln Woods State Park. Arrange a whole weekend of outdoor activities for dad and the whole family with a camping trip to George Washington State Campground and Management Area.

Father’s day is also the first full day of summer and the longest day of the year so you should have a lot of daylight to enjoy those outdoor activities.
