About this event:
Well of Woman, penned by Ricardo Pitts-Wiley, is stories of women told in poetry, song, spoken word, and dance, with original music written by Pitts-Wiley specifically for the play and several traditional songs. Well of Woman is the inaugural production of Mixed Magic Theatre’s new Maker’s Magic Work In Progress Salon I . Directed by Lauri E. Smalls, this collection of stories are the experiences women shared with the author over thirty five-plus years. As a group, the memories and experiences the women are portraying in Well of Woman reflect deeply personal journeys. Yet, each has a universality that allows a broader audience to empathize.
Performance Times: Friday & Saturday @ 7:30 pm. Sunday @ 3 pm
