The workshop will provide an in-depth view of cemetery art, history and symbolism. Brenda will take us from colonial burial grounds through the rural cemetery movement of the 19th century and into 21st century locations. She will examine why we have cemeteries and gravestones, why they look the way they do and how styles and art have evolved over 400 years.
