The Community Players round out their 97th season with the “heavenly” musical, Forever Plaid. A quartet of four school pals discover their mutual love of music, especially the close harmony of their idols: The Four Freshmen, The Hi-Lo’s and The Crew Cuts, and soon start rehearsing their music together.  Naming themselves “Forever Plaid”, they are on their way to their first gig when they are broadsided by a school bus and killed (don’t worry – it’s a comedy!) The play begins with the wondrous Plaids returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory.  Take a trip back to the 1950s and rediscover the fun and music of the “guy groups” of that time, with musical favorites like Three Coins in a Fountain, Sixteen Tons, Catch a Falling Star and more.
