Stuart Powers began reappropriating thrift-store art finds in 2020. Hundreds of paintings created since show he has a knack for the art form and a story to tell. This one isn’t to be missed!
With results that are sometimes amusing, disturbing – or both simultaneously – Powers has created hundreds of new worlds, breathing a new life into art that has been tossed aside on these unsuspecting substrates. They’re collaborations of sorts in which he “ruins” them, which he often elaborates on (hilariously) on his personal Facebook page for his followers.
Free and Open to the Public. Light Refreshments will be served.
Can’t make it on the 12th? Come in any Saturday from 12-4 or by appointment through May 10th.
