New running race event in Smithfield!

Participate in this new fun event with a course traversing a scenic route starting and ending at Smithfield High School, located in Greenville on Pleasant View Avenue (Route 116) at the junction of Cedar Swamp Road (Route 5)

Course Description: Come join us for the 1st annual sour apple half marathon/5k. The race will start and finish at Smithfield High School in Smithfield, RI. The half marathon course is set in the countryside with limited traffic. It might be July, but there will be plenty of shade. The course will be certified.

There will be a 4 hour time limit for the half marathon:

There will be 7 water station on the half course and 3 aid stations. 1 water stop on the 5k:
