RIHS Drink In the History featuring White Dog Distilling

Join the Rhode Island Historical Society and White Dog Distilling for the continuation of our Drink in the History series to celebrate the RIHS’s bicentennial.

The program will feature Alecia Catucci co-owner and co-founder of White Dog Distilling who will host our in-person tasting event at the White Dog Distilling space. Enjoy light local culinary fare as you sip on craft-made White Dog beverages. Participants will be welcomed with a White Dog mini cocktail and then be taken through a flight of rum and moonshine.

Following the tasting, researchers Traci Picard and Andrew Polta will share the story of Eliza Granger, a female distiller in Providence’s Snowtown community in the early nineteenth century.

This program is a continuation of the RIHS’s Drink in the History series, which will pair Rhode Island beverage companies with historic talks throughout the year.
