Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat and Taiwan Day Festival

FREE EVENT!!! Action-packed all-day entertainment with exciting dragon boat races, cultural performances, authentic cuisine, and the popular dumpling eating contest all along The Pawtucket River!
On Saturday, Aug. 31, the 2024 Dragon Boat Races and Taiwan Day Festival will return to Festival Pier off School Street, starting at 9 a.m. and running throughout the day.
This event launches the annual Pawtucket Arts Festival, running Aug. 31-Sept. 8. It celebrates the city’s creative and cultural life by presenting vibrant arts events.
As for the Dragon Boat Races, the free Labor Day weekend event will be full of action, cultural performances, authentic cuisine, and the popular dumpling-eating contest, all along the Pawtucket River across from the in-progress Tidewater Landing soccer stadium. Join the thousands of people who attend each year for this family-friendly event centered on the Chinese and Taiwanese cultures.
