The Audubon Society of RI will be bringing their “Raptor Encounter” show to the Library. This fun and educational experience will showcase live raptors such as owls, falcons, and hawks. Participants will discover birds of prey and the amazing adaptations they have for survival. Live birds of prey will be part of the presentation.
Best suited for children ages 4 through 5th grade.
This program will be held outside the library and the building will be closed. In order to participate, you must bring a blanket for you and your family to sit on, and everyone over the age of 2 must wear a mask. The library will be handing out pool noodles during the program to ensure blankets are socially distant from each other. All children must stay on their blankets or in their strollers, or will be asked to leave.
No registration required.
If there is inclement weather, the program will be postponed to Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 pm. Please check the library’s facebook page for information updates.
