Puerto Rico Constitution Day Ceremony

July 25, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Please join Mayor Maria Rivera, Central Falls City Council, and members of the Puerto Rican community for the Puerto Rico Constitution Day, flag raising ceremony!
The Puerto Rican flag consists of three colors: red, white, and blue.
The red color symbolizes the blood shed by patriots during the stage of the revolution, the blue color of the equilateral triangle that is in the extreme left symbolizes the sky and the sea of the country, the solitary five-pointed star that accompanies the triangle represents the location of the island, the white stripes that are part of the flag symbolize the peace and victory achieved by the island. The Puerto Rican flag is an important symbol of pride in the heritage of many who live in Central Falls.
Mayor Maria Rivera, city officials and community members will gather on the steps of Central Falls City Hall to raise the Puerto Rican flag in honor of Commonwealth Constitution Day, which commemorates the anniversary of American troops landing at Guánica in 1898.
We hope to see you there!
