Preservation, Recreation and Sport – RI Statewide Historic Preservation Conference

Rhode Island’s preservation conference is bound for East Providence.The 34th Annual Rhode Island Statewide Historic Preservation Conference will explore the architecture and history of leisure in Rhode Island.
Featuring:
>Keynote Speaker Brent Leggs, Executive Director of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund at the National Trust for Historic Preservation
>12 tours by boat, bus, bicycle, and foot in historic East Providence
>12 workshops on historic sports venues, amusements, Civil Rights, roadside architecture, playful programming, and more
>Countless opportunities to network and socialize
The conference is organized by the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission in collaboration with The City of East Providence, East Providence Historical Society, and other partners.
