The parade steps off from Slatersville Plaza and will march to the town hall for Memorial Day Ceremonies. After an 11 am ceremony, the parade will continue to  Village Haven parking lot at 90 School street where local vendors will provide food.

In addition to veterans, the parade this year will feature replicas of the inflatable “ghost tanks” that were manufactured at the U.S. Rubber Company in Woonsocket and used as decoys to fool German troops during World War II. It will also feature members of the local Scout troops, fire and police departments and a performance of taps and the national anthem by members of the North Smithfield High School band during the ceremony.
