Join Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park for a National Public Lands Day (NPLD) cleanup on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This family friendly cleanup will begin at the Wilbur Kelly House (1075 Lower River Rd., Lincoln, RI). In addition to being the culminating event in the park’s 17 Saturdays of Summer Fun, this program is part of the Blackstone Heritage Corridor’s GO! Program, a month-long series of free, guided experiences and entertaining special events. Whether you are a first time volunteer or a veteran of the Volunteers-in-Parks (VIP) program, all are welcome to come, enjoy, and to give back to one of America’s newest national parks.
