Music at the Farm – Artist in Residence, Virtuoso Double Bassist, Nina Bernat and Pianist Omi Garrett.

Honored recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and winner of the CAG Elmaleh Competition, Nina is 1st prize winner of the Barbash J.S. Bach String Competition, the Minnesota Orchestra Young Artist Competition, the Juilliard Double Bass Competition, and the 2019 International Society of Bassists Solo Competition. She was guest principal bassist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, under the batons of András Schiff and regularly plays in the New York Philharmonic. She has appeared with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, the Marlboro Music Festival, the Lake Champlain Music Festival. and the Grace Note Farm Chamber Music Festival. This season she will perform a concerto debut with the Minnesota Orchestra and appear as guest principal of the Oslo Philharmonic. She performs on a Guadagnini. bass.
