Join us for an approximately 3-mile easy hike on the grounds of the Monastery in Cumberland. The hike will head through wooded trails and fields and pass the Nine Men’s Misery monument and the old quarry.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: easy.
WHERE TO MEET: the trail is behind the Cumberland Public Library on Diamond Hill Rd. (Route 114). We’ll meet you in the rear parking lot by the senior center.
WHAT TO BRING: Weather-appropriate clothing (layers; no cotton), waterproof footwear, small day pack with extra clothes, snacks, water, personal medications, binoculars, camera.
OPTIONAL RECOMMENDED ITEMS: sunglasses and hiking poles.
