Stillwater Scenic Trail is a a gentle waterside walk with remnants of Rhode Island’s Industrial past.
Join Woonasquatucket Watershed Council for this roughly two-mile round trip walk along sections of the Woonasquatucket, including Stillwater Pond. See some of the buildings remaining from Stillwater Village, some remnants of the railroad spur that served the mill complex, and pass dams that created these ponds – reminders of RI’s thriving industrial past.
Meet at Stillwater Scenic Trailhead: Park in a gravel lot off Farnum Pike (Route 104) between Washington Highway (Route 116) and Stump Pond dam
