Unfortunately, the Olympic Games are on hold for this summer, but the Greenway Games is open to all. We’re seeing record trail use from Maine to Florida, and exercising and connecting with nature on a greenway is one of the best ways to relieve stress and keep you healthy for the future in these challenging times.

The best part of the Greenway Games? You create your own event and go for the gold. Run a 5K. Bike 10 miles. Enjoy a family hike. Knit. Bake cookies. Dribble a basketball. Design an epic hopscotch board. The only rule? Have fun and enjoy yourself along the Greenway. Want to get a group of friends or family members together virtually? You can set up a team during registration. We encourage all participants to join our staff and share their unique Greenway Games activities on social media by using the #GreenwayGames hashtag and tagging East Coast Greenway accounts.

It’s free to participate and fundraising is optional – but we will offer some great incentives for those who raise as little as $100. If you’d like to commemorate your Greenway Games experience with a limited-edition T-shirt, you can register for $50. All proceeds from paid registrations and your fundraising efforts will directly support our work to grow the Greenway.
