This 2- hour course will allow students to experience upcycling a glass bottle into a functional vessel. Students are encouraged to bring their own glass liquor, wine or beer bottle. They will learn how to heat the bottle in a kiln and transfer it to our furnace where it becomes molten enough to open up the lip and shape the body. Great for ages 10 and up! All students will be under close supervision of our professional glass blowers. Guaranteed to bring home 1-2 pieces to share with your family and friends.

This is feel-good class with an emphasis on learning the basics of upcycling glass and keeping local bottles from our local landfill!

All finished glass pieces need to be annealed in a kiln and will not be ready to pick up for 48 hours. We offer shipping for an additional $10. All of our packing materials are 100% Eco-Friendly.
