David Lawlor, a photographer and videographer based in North Providence, will be hosting a gallery show at his Cumberland studio.

The David Lawlor Studio has been the site of three other shows this year, providing opportunities for local artists to connect with each other and for residents to support their work. The building doubles as both a gallery and studio workspace for shooting clients and has an outdoor area that has been used to screen movies like Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” at previous events. This will be the studio’s fourth and last gallery show of 2018.

The list of activities to take place at the event include a polaroid raffle and a drawing for a 16 x 20-inch photograph print. Food and drinks will be available, but attendees are allowed to bring their own. With a great music playlist lined up, guests are being promised an enjoyable atmosphere.

“While these shows are a great way for me to show off my work, it’s also about generating more buzz for the local art community here in and around Cumberland and Providence County,” said David. “I’m hoping that as the gallery shows gain more popularity, I’ll have the chance to invite more local artists and help them connect with a wider audience.”

There will be a gift shop sections, where persons will be able to purchase prints for themselves and as gifts for others. Over a hundred of David’s photographs will be on sale.
