Empowerment Factory is holding a monthly Creativity Contest! The first contest will run from 5/15/2020 – 6/14/2020. The theme is “What is kindness?”.

What is a Creativity Contest?
Each month from May 2020 to October 2020, The Empowerment Factory will be running a contest with a different topic. The purpose of these contests is to celebrate what is good in the world. We want you to share your talent. Together, we can make a difference in the world, with acts of kindness and creativity.

Who can enter?
All elementary school-age children in grades K- 5 living in Rhode Island can enter. Enter to win every month. Only one entry per child, per category, per month.

How do I enter?
Draw a picture, write a short story or poem about what each month’s contest topic means to you. Entry needs to fit onto 1 piece of paper into a square format (example: 12” x 12” or 8” x 8”). Please note that if you submit a photo that is not a square, parts of your photo may be cropped or altered.

Take a photo of your entry, then upload your artwork to: www.theempowermentfactory.org/current-contest

The public will only see the child’s artwork, first name, grade and town. We will not share your personal information, email or phone number with anyone. After you submit your artwork you will get an email from Welcome@empowermentfactory.org

What can I win?
Every monthly contest will have four winners: two in grades K-2 and two in grades 3-5. Monthly winners receive games and prizes valued up to $25 each, and be entered to win a grand prize. Winners will be contacted by email.
