Blackstone River Public Paddle

A small group from the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative will be paddling the entire Blackstone river from Worcester to Providence to raise awareness about the opportunities to steward, restore, and improve access to the river, also known as Kittacuck or Mishkittakooksepe.
On Sunday, September 15, the public is invited to join our paddle for the last four miles from Pawtucket’s Festival Pier to Providence’s Gano Park. This is a moderate paddle from 1:30-3:30.
There are 35 spots available in canoes (and a few kayaks) generously provided by Friends of the Blackstone, or feel free to bring your own watercraft!

After the paddle, join a public celebration of the river hosted at Narragansett Brewery (271 Tockwotton St, Providence, RI 02903). All are welcome, no registration required.
