“The Resistance Cookbook: Nasty Women and Bad Hombres in the Kitchen”
Editor Pamela Lowell will discuss the cookbook’s creative journey, local activism, and provide a tasty treat from one of the recipes in the cookbook (as long as they last) in exchange for a donation to Turning the Corner, a facility in Pawtucket that provides therapeutic treatment for young men in state care. Requested items include male hygiene supplies (deodorant, toothbrushes, combs, hair products) and / or gently used suitcases or totes.
