East Providence Arts Council is SO excited to be welcoming mural artist Anna Dugan to paint an asphalt mural between Hennessey School and Pierce Field on the 10th and 11th of September. Anna is requesting approximately 10 people per hour to assist in the creation of this delightful mural.
One of the biggest requests the East Providence Arts Council gets is to create opportunities for the community to get involved in the creation of public art, and they are ready to have their first event this September thanks to a Bloomberg Asphalt Grant received by the City of East Providence and the Arts Council! All ages welcome, but little ones should be accompanied and assisted by an adult.
East Providence Arts Council is SO excited to be welcoming mural artist Anna Dugan to paint an asphalt mural between Hennessey School and Pierce Field on the 10th and 11th of September. Anna is requesting approximately 10 people per hour to assist in the creation of this delightful mural. No artistic experience needed. Participants will be filling in designated spots with designated colors. Should a time slot be filled and you’d still like to stop by, you may – we cannot guarantee we’ll have a spot for you to paint, but we might! At the very least, you’ll get to see some pretty amazing art being created.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Dress for a mess. 
Anna may not require as much assistance on Sunday, so if you’re signing up for a Sunday slot, know you may be contacted and told we’re all set. Please show up at the times you choose – write them down to remember! A volunteer may not be able to look it up for you as we get closer to the date. Should the weekend be a washout, the mural will be completed the following weekend.
