Local artist Carolyn Dooley of Cumberland, will be exhibiting a number of her children’s book illustrations, prints, teabag paintings, and watercolors in the Library’s Hayden Art Gallery during the month of February. Her primary media is watercolor and pastel. Bucolic and natural scenes are a consistent theme in her art. The exhibit, which is entitled “Inspired by the Joy of Nature,” will be accessible on the second floor whenever the library is open.
