Come join PAC member JoAnn Bromley as she leads a three-week workshop on creating and working with an art journal. The dates are February 13th, 20th, and 27th. All workshops run from 5:30-7:30pm.
The workshop is free and open to the public. A donation of $5 towards materials is requested.
Materials needed:
Journal, preferably a mixed media, but any book will do as long as the pages are sewn in and not just glued.
Markers, colored pencils
Gesso white
Glue stick (the kind that you use for gluing in scrapbooks, not in a glue gun)
Scissors
magazines or printed images or quotes you like
Heat gun or hair dryer
Joann will have magazines, water colors, acrylics, stencils, et cetera, but attendees should feel free to bring favorite supplies to work with.
Visual Journaling is a wonderful way to explore a variety of art and media techniques as well as journaling thoughts, inspirations, and reflections. We will explore collaging, gesso and texture, stenciling, doodling and more to create a one of a kind journal of your own.
