The Apple Blossom Garden Club of Smithfield is having their annual plant sale at Blackbird Farm.

For the vegetable garden we have many varieties of heirloom tomatoes, vegetables and herbs for sale. For the flower garden we have a variety of perennials, succulents and annuals. We even have some houseplants!
We will be happy to answer all of your gardening questions!

URI Master Gardeners – URI Master Gardeners will on site from 9:00am to 12:00pm to answer all your gardening questions and perform free soil testing.
Dig up a small baggie of soil and have it analyzed. Healthy soil makes happy plants!
“How to Start a Garden” – At 12:30 URI Master Gardener, Mary Malouin, will give a talk on how to start a garden. Come join us for this informative talk!
Recycle your pots – We will be accepting all of those plastic pots, hanging baskets and plant cell packs you’ve gathered over the years. Clean out those garages and bring them along!
