In 1864, while Grant and Lee fought to a draw in the East, Gen. Sherman’s Union armies routed Gen. Johnston’s Confederate armies from Atlanta to Savanah, GA. Gen. George Sears Greene(Paul Bourget) will dis cuss why the battles fought in 1864 were pivotal to the out come of the war.
