The East Providence Chamber of Commerce and the East Providence Historical Society, present the annual WSD celebration of the early history of EP and its beginnings on the waterfront at the eastern end of what is now the Washington Bridge.

Presentations include updates on Green Jacket Shoal, the EP waterfront development and the newly formed Sowams Group which will spotlight the Native American fording place in the area where John Brown built his first wooden bridge.

Join them for walking tours from Tockwotton to the Washington Bridge, exhibits in the Cafe and chowder/ dessert from the Tockwotton kitchen.
