8-Track Classics – The Best of the 60’s & 70’s with Dave Tessier and the All Star Stars

David Tessier is a musician and actor from Providence, RI, who’s been performing professionally all over the east coast since the late ’80s.
A precursor to the “Olneyville Sound”, Tessier grew up in the Olneyville neighborhood on the West End of Providence, and still maintains a rehearsal studio there.
As an Actor and Composer, David has worked with all the major theaters in Rhode Island, and has performed at iconic music venues such as Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel, the Strand, AS220, the Living Room, the Met Cafe and CBGB’s and has opened for artists such as the Spin Doctors and the Tubes.
Currently, David is the musical director for King Richard’s Faire, and the founder of “The All-Star Band of All-Stars”, a collective of musical artists who are interested only in putting on the most exciting and entertaining shows possible, whether that entails performing Jesus Christ Superstar, the Monkees or just a Beatles song.
Now the All-Star Stars are tackling the greatest songs from the 60s and 70s. Not just the ones you hear all the time, but the deep tracks that you forgot you loved!
