This class is tailored to beginners that would like a bit more than just the “Create your own” experience. In this class, students will receive demonstrations and learn how to use all the tools necessary to make ones own piece.

This is a small class with only 4 students per station so that the instructor can work with each student in depth. Beginners will start forming a solid form such as a paperweight, flower, heart. This is a good way to learn the steps without having to worry about centering your bubble ( less overwhelming ). After that we move into blowing bubbles but still keeping it simple. Students will each learn how to inflate the bubble by blowing into the blowpipe. After learning how to apply color, the instructor will assist the student into making an ornament. The last hour will concentrate on learning how to blow into a mold and transfer your blown piece onto the punty so that the lip can be opened. This last hour will be spent making your very beloved drinking glass.

All glass will be cooled down slowly in an annealer and ready to pick up in 48 hours. Shipping is an option for an additional $10.
