As Summer melts into Fall, there are still plenty of good-weather days left for al fresco dining, and many of our restaurants in the Blackstone Valley offer outdoor dining.  We share ten restaurants to visit, one from each of our ten communities. 

New patio for al fresco dining at Waterfall Cafe and Martini Bar in Harrisville

Burrillville – Waterfall Cafe & Martini Bar, located in the historic village of Harrisville, has upgraded their outdoor patio that offers scenic views of the waterfall across the street. Under the Tavolo restaurant group, we recommend the house mac & cheese or Mediterranean Pizza! Come on a Saturday evening between now and August 19, and listen to free music from the Riverwalk Times Concert Series while sipping your martini. Be sure to check their drink and dining specials!

Central Falls – At La Casona on Broad Street savor authentic Colombian food, delicious cocktails and a cozy atmosphere on their patio. The patio is decorated with beautiful floral and water features. Gather your friends for some Shrimp Ceviche and Elite Margaritas. Be sure to try the Guacamole Fresco Con Chips… We thought the guac was so good we wanted to bottle it up and take it home!

Cumberland – For live music with your drinks we suggest patio dining at Davenport’s Family Restaurant. They offer a delectable summer menu full of lobster and fresh seafood and a yummy dessert, Limoncello Mascarpone Cake featuring their house made blueberry compote!

Enjoy a cocktail with dinner in Skeff’s Beer Garden

East Providence –  Have you enjoyed a drink and dinner at Skeff’s Pub in the beer garden yet?? On Tuesdays they offer a burger & beer special featuring Skeff’s house burger with half-off toppings & draft domestic or craft. Try a glass of Greater Good Bigg Summer, a New England pale ale with pineapple.

Glocester – The newest restaurant located in the village of Harmony, Assados Kitchen & Bar has recently opened up an outdoor deck and bar to enjoy al fresco dining on some of the best Portuguese dishes in the area.  Come early, this restaurant is hopping!

Lincoln –  The Lodge Pub & Eatery has been a favorite among locals for 28 years. Located along historic Great Road, they recently refurbished their outdoor patio seating. This is a great place to relax after hiking through nearby Lincoln Woods State Park. The management offers weekend specials. 

North Smithfield – Watch the ballgame with a local craft beer and rodeo burger on the patio at Tavern 6 Two 1. The tavern has five TV’s outside so you can enjoy all your sports favorites while taking in the great weather!

Pawtucket – Murphy’s Law is back! Grab a Guinness, order some Irish Pub fare and take it to the outdoor patio for a laidback dining experience before you check in at the Hampton Inn next door.

Smithfield – Trap North, a newcomer to the Blackstone Valley located in the Greenville section of Smithfield, offers a huge outdoor patio and bar with firepits and televisions. Overlooking a nearby pond. It is also dog friendly .. So bring your best friend, sit back and take in the natural surroundings while savoring traditional pub fare that will make your mouth water!

Woonsocket –  For a romantic dinner by the river, River Falls is the place to be. The ambience overlooking the Blackstone River is breathtaking! Sip a Blackstone martini, one of the specialty cocktails, or Lavender Mojito with your meal like the Cajun Seafood Saute or perhaps the River Falls steak tips.
