Movie Night at Assembly Theatre

Join us on February 24th at The Assembly Theatre for our next movie night, as we’re going back to 1984 with David Lynch’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 classic novel, “Dune”! Filled with 80’s sci-fi effects, the debut performance of Kyle Maclachlan, a score by the band Toto (yup, the band that did “Africa”) and all the Sting you could ask for.
Much maligned by both moviegoers and the film’s director at the time of release due to significant studio interference, this movie has developed a cult classic status in the years since, only strengthened by the recent adaptations of the same source material in the critically acclaimed and box office hit “Dune” (2021) and the upcoming “Dune: Part Two”.
We will have concessions and bar available, as well as a few fun surprises! Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the movie will start at 7pm. Admission is $10 at the door.
The spice must flow!
