Acrylic Pour Painting Class

Want to learn a fun art form in a stress free environment? In this course geared toward the beginner fluid artist, Pam will teach you three must know techniques to create a beautiful organic motif fluid art piece and become a confident paint pouring artist. (Even those with a little experience in this art form will learn something new!)

The three techniques demonstrated will teach you what materials to use, trouble- shooting tips and tricks, basic color theory using the color wheel, how to use tints, tones, and shades to create depth, learn how NOT to make mud, and how to distinguish opacity when purchasing acrylics. You will leave with 5 recipes to DIY your own fluid art mediums to take your art to the next level, and the formula to know how much paint to use.

Want to open possibilities and add something new to your toolbelt? In this course you will learn the two “key” components of fluid art…….”consistency” for proper flow, and “tilt” for a great composition. Pam will show you how to obtain the proper consistency for your technique, and through using the “tilt” method you will create a beautiful one of a kind composition. You will also learn how to dry, seal, and protect your painting. Most importantly, you will have a blast starting or upping your game on your fluid art journey! Minimum of 3 participants needed to run class.

Fully vaccinated students may attend class unmasked if they choose to show proof of vaccination the day of the class. All others must be masked during session. Thank you.
