New Harvest was founded in 2000 by Rik Kleinfeldt and Paula Anderson with the intent of bringing great coffee to real people. Originally located in a drafty shed on the site of the old Washburn Wire factory in Rumford, Rhode Island, New Harvest now calls Hope Artiste Village home. Their roastery hums five days a week, filling coffee orders to all fifty states. It’s also where they have their daily staff cuppings, during which the day comes to a halt for a half-hour and we taste and talk coffee. In our Training Center, they train baristas, home coffee enthusiasts, and pretty much anyone who will listen on how to craft great coffee.
Why? Because they care about coffee, and want you to care about it, too.
