Provides the story of local culture, immigration, labor, and enterprise in the Blackstone Valley River Valley, and the story of the French Canadians who left the farms of Quebec for the factories of New England. Two floors contain 8 real-life displays, more than 200 photographs, 3 films, many interactive-audio presentations, hands-on displays, please-touch exhibits, and changing exhibitions. The Museum also holds the La Fete du Jour L’An, a traditional French celebration welcoming the New Year. The Museum store features unique gifts, books, crafts and clothing. Hosts weddings with a capacity of 75 or 150 and is same sex friendly for weddings.
