Blackstone Valley is buzzing with excitement as several spots in our region were used as locations for the new Disney+ movie, Hocus Pocus 2! Chase Farm
667 Great Road, Lincoln, RI
For several weeks during the fall of 2021, the historic Chase Farm had a portion of its ground turned into 1670s village for Hocus Pocus 2. The buildings are no longer standing as they were taken down after the shoot, but you can still come and visit the beautiful hills used for this film. On the grounds you'll see a historic schoolhouse and just past that further up the path on your right is where the movie set stood.

Head to the village of Rumford in the City of East Providence to see the historic Newman Cemetery used in the film. Part of what's known as "Ring of the Green" that also includes the church/meeting house dates back to the mid-1600s. The oldest headstone belongs to William Carpenter was dated 1658. It's great to see that the aesthetics and history of this site aligns with what the makers of Hocus Pocus 2 were looking for.

Gem of a Collection
Dragonfly Apothecary in Chepachet features a display of gems, stones and crystal, some of which were used as props in the recent Hocus Pocus II.
