A 3,000 acre state-managed area for swimming, camping, hiking, bird watching, wildlife observation, and hunting connected to the 100-acre Casimir Pulaski Memorial Park on the Burrillville-Glocester border.  George Washington Management Area Bike Trail contains diverse sets of trails through the 4,000 acre management area. Has very rocky trails for expert riders, but also dirt roads for someone just looking to get into mountain biking.

Located within the 4000 acre George Washington Management Area, and on the shores of Bowdish Reservoir, the 100 acre George Washington Memorial Camping Area is an overnight, primitive camping facility offering a multitude of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

There are 45 well spaced gravel sites suitable for tents, trailers and RVs, as well as two Adirondack style Shelters available by reservation for group camping (limited to 20 persons each). The campground is open from the second weekend of April to the end of October.
